Hon Nicole McKee: All firearms pose a risk to public safety when they are in the wrong hands. This Government has committed to rewriting the Arms Act 1983 and strengthening the licencing system to mitigate these risks. The Government is also committed to targeting the proliferation of illicit firearms held by criminals.
