1600 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Associate Minister of Justice: What modelling, if any, has she done to ascertain the number of Firearm Prohibition Orders that will result from the new Prohibition Orders Legislation Amendment Bill?

Hon Nicole McKee: In the development of the policy for the Firearms Prohibition Orders Legislation Amendment Bill, Police estimated approximately 80 – 120 FPOs will be issued per annum.
