1536 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Associate Minister of Education: What communication, including text messages, emails, briefings, broken down by recipient and date, if any has the Minister sent or received regarding freedom of speech at New Zealand Universities?

Hon David Seymour: I received the following reports from the Ministry of Education regarding freedom of speech, academic neutrality and institutional neutrality at New Zealand Universities: • 10 October 2024: Freedom of speech in the tertiary education system • 4 November 2024: University freedom of speech legislation. My office receives and sends a significant amount of correspondence. If the member wishes to be more specific about the information he is seeking, I will endeavour to provide him with an answer. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 1498 and 1518 (2025).
