1511 (2026). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: Further to WPQ 51917 (2025) What process, if any, was followed to determine whether any outgoing WorkSafe Board members would be offered the opportunity to continue?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I asked MBIE to undertake an open recruitment process and I made decisions based on advice from MBIE and my own assessment of the particular skills and experience needed on the Board to deliver my new direction for WorkSafe New Zealand.
