1506 (2026). Hon Carmel Sepuloni to the Associate Minister of Education: Did the Ministry of Education provide the Charter School Agency with any advice or feedback other than that contained in the 10 November 2025 letter from Sean Teddy to the Charter Schools Agency?

Hon David Seymour: In the 2024 new schools application round, Bangerz Education and Wellbeing Trust did not pass stage two of the process (for Auckland Sports College). Therefore, the Charter School Agency did not seek the views of the Ministry of Education. In the 2025 application round they did not make the shortlist (Auckland Secondary College).
