Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Corrections: Approximately how many pages of communication, if any, has the Minister's department, if any, received from the Ministry for Regulation - including correspondence, meeting requests, briefings and all other communication, across all communication channels including emails, text, and social media messages?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Corrections sends and receives a wide range of correspondence with the Ministry for Regulation, from general newsletters relating to their work programme, to more specific correspondence seeking feedback on various matters, including upcoming regulatory proposals or regulatory system setting. I am further advised that to approximate the number of pages of communication between Corrections and the Ministry of Regulation would amount to substantial collation and manual analysis, which I am not prepared to ask of my officials for the purposes of this response. This is also my response to WPQ 1528 (2025).
