1472 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: What funding, if any, is currently available to support emergency response, clean-up, and immediate recovery from landslides and slips, and from which appropriations or funds is this drawn?
Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the National Emergency Management Agency’s settings on financial support to local authorities after an emergency is covered under section 33 of the Guide to the National Civil Defence Emergency Management Plan.
Eligible costs are funded by the Permanent Legislative Authority established under the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002. Additional information relating to funding can be found

Other central government funding that is available under other appropriations does not fall within my portfolio responsibilities.
