Hon Mark Mitchell: The mechanisms to surge personnel, resources and equipment to areas impacted by emergencies are outlined in the National Civil Defence Emergency Management Plan Order 2015, Coordinated Incident Management System (CIMS) handbook, and the Emergency Sector Deployments Directors Guideline.
