1459 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: What, if anything, happened to the 246 aged under 16 students who were excluded and had not returned to schooling as reported in the 2025 Education Indicator: Stand-downs, suspensions, exclusions and expulsions Report?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the Ministry of Education is unable to provide this information in the time available for responding to written parliamentary questions. It is not in the public interest to divert staff from their core roles to collate the information.
