Hon Todd McClay: I am advised that the Ministry for Primary Industries is in regular communication with other government departments, including the Ministry for Regulation, collaborating on legislation, policy development and other related matters. In accordance with Speaker’s Ruling 210/6, I consider that the time and resources, and hence the expense, required to answer this question within the timeframe allowed for written parliamentary questions is not in the public interest.
