1440 (2026). Shanan Halbert to the Minister for Vocational Education: What is the forecast total enrolments in New Zealand Institutes of Polytechnic in 2026, listed by learning provider and equivalent full-time students?

Hon Penny Simmonds: The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) prepare forecasts for many of the funds allocated to New Zealand Institutes of Polytechnic. These forecasts estimate the total Equivalent Full Time Students (EFTS) and value of delivery for a calendar year. These forecasts are only available after March 2026 once all indicative enrolment data has been received.
