Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on matters relating to my Emergency Management and Recovery portfolio. For the period 9-13 December 2024, I refer the member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 81617 (2024). In addition, I am now in a position to advise that I received the following document from the Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery: Ministerial Approval of projects under the North Island Weather Events (2023) Hawke's Bay Crown Funding Agreement, 9 December 2024. For the period 16 December 2024-17 January 2025, I received the following document from officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC): Government Appointments to be made in 2025, 19 December 2024 I also received one document from DPMC on 20 December 2024. It is not in the public interest to release the title of this document. Jointly with the Prime Minister I have received the following document from the Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery: Cyclone Recovery Weekly Update on Categorisation, Buyouts, and Sediment Removal, 19 December 2024. For the period 20-24 January 2025, I refer the member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 101 (2025). In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from officials in NEMA and the DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
