1427 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: In relation to her answer to written question 81977, has the Minister been advised that the commissioned independent research about engineered stone not being publicly available prior to, and possibly during, the consultation period may lead to less informed decisions?

Hon Brooke van Velden: The independent review was commissioned by the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment for the purpose of ensuring that my decisions will be informed by both the most-up-to-date scientific evidence and feedback from the public. I have not, therefore, received any advice of the nature to which the member refers.
