1407 (2024). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister of Climate Change: As of 29 February 2024, what advice has the Minister received, if any, about the Government's proposal to "implement a fair and sustainable pricing system for on-farm agricultural emissions" by 2030 as outlined in the Speech from the Throne?

Hon Simon Watts: I have received a range of advice relevant to our Speech from the Throne priorities, much of which is currently under active consideration and not appropriate for release at this time. I can confirm I have received advice to progress manifesto commitments, including advice related to getting agriculture out of the Emissions Trading Scheme.
