1396 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister for Trade and Investment: Has the US government contacted the NZ government regarding the World Trade Organisation since November 2025; if so, what was the content of the contact made?

Hon Todd McClay: I am advised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, that New Zealand and the United States maintain regular contact, primarily led by our respective permanent missions in Geneva, on the full span of trade matters addressed through the World Trade Organization.
