Hon Brooke van Velden: I have received the following advice, reports, briefings, aide memoires, or any other document from the Department of Internal Affairs relating to protecting New Zealanders from AI generated child exploitation material: • ‘Introduction to the content regulatory system and related online safety work’ (7 December 2023); • ‘Material to support your interview with Radio New Zealand: The Department’s work to prevent access to Child Sexual Abuse Material and other objectionable content’ (27 February 2024); and • ‘Gen AI Child Sexual Abuse Material is Rapidly Increasing’ (1 August 2024).
