1375 (2025). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: How is the Minister refreshing New Zealand’s suicide prevention action plan, and when will the refreshed plan be released?

Hon Matt Doocey: Ministry of Health officials are currently leading work to update the draft action plan following the public consultation period at the end of 2024. I anticipate the final suicide prevention action plan for 2025–2029 will be released towards the middle of the year.
