Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Finance: What correspondence, if any, including but not limited to letters, emails, text messages, WhatsApp messages, or Signal messages has the Minister or any member of their Office sent or received regarding alternative ways, if any, of managing state-owned entities, listed by sender, subject and date?

Hon Nicola Willis: In the timeframe available to respond to a Written Question, my staff and I have not had an opportunity to review all of our correspondence and messages, incoming and outgoing. However, I can advise that I receive correspondence, including from members of the public, on state-owned entities, on a range of matters such as their performance, their use of funds, and matters that are operational in nature and the responsibility of entities’ boards. If the Member’s reference to “alternative ways” is a reference to the Government discussing selling assets, I can advise that the Government has committed to no asset sales this Parliamentary term.
