1365 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Has the Minister received any formal assurances from Te Whatu Ora about how patient information (including for Beating the Blues users) is protected against unauthorised access, if so, what are those assurances?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that Health NZ takes the privacy and security of patient information systems seriously and has multiple cyber protections in place for Health NZ managed systems. I also refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 1859 (2026).
