Camilla Belich to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: What advice, if any, has the Minister had regarding how the Employment Relations (Pay Deductions for Partial Strikes) Amendment Bill meets New Zealand’s commitment to provide workers the right to organise and collectively bargain under ILO 'Right to Organise and Collective Bargaining Convention'?

Hon Brooke van Velden: The Government has a range of international obligations concerning labour issues, including in the International Labour Organization (ILO) Conventions. The Government received advice on these obligations and took this into account in its decision making.
