Lan Pham to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: When, if ever, will the Minister reply to the letter from the Waimate District Council, requesting it remove the proposal from South Island Resource Recovery Limited (SIRRL) for a waste-to-energy plant from the list of projects to be fast-tracked?

Hon Chris Bishop: I intend to reply to the Waimate District Council in the near future.
