1299 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: Were there any staff increases at the Ministry of Education sensitive claims process following the announcement on the 9 May 2025 about redress claims for abuse in care, if so, how many?

Hon Erica Stanford: Yes. I am advised that in the 2024/25 financial year, six additional staff were employed within the Sensitive Claims team after 9 May 2025.
