1298 (2024). Tamatha Paul to the Associate Minister of Justice: Will the review of the firearms registry consider the effectiveness of overseas firearms registries, such as the registry in Australia, and if not, why not?

Hon Nicole McKee: I expect to receive advice on this ahead of commencing the review in June. I anticipate the review will draw on the experience of registries in comparable jurisdictions.
