Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: How much, if anything, separate to the ongoing sensitive claims process, did the Ministry of Education spend on responding to the Royal Commission into Abuse in Care’s report in the financial year 2024/2025, listed by expenditure item?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) deployed resources in both Policy and Corporate Services during 2024/25 financial year to respond to the report of the Royal Commission. The costs associated with the resources deployed were met within Ministry baselines.
