1293 (2024). Tamatha Paul to the Associate Minister of Justice: What research, if any, has the Minister seen indicating the level of public support for the firearm registry, and what was the level of support indicated?

Hon Nicole McKee: I am aware of a range of views on the Firearms Registry. According to the coalition agreement, a review as to its effectiveness and efficiency will begin before June, when the Registry has been operating for a full year.
