1272 (2024). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: What advice, if any, has the Minister seen in relation to funding an additional 500 prison beds?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I receive regular advice from my Corrections officials about the prison population and ensuring long-term capacity. I have not received advice relating to funding an additional 500 prison beds. Further, I refer the Member to my reply to Written Question 26658 (2023).
