1225 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: Does the Minister intend that legislation that he introduces into the House in respect of gangs will be consistent with the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act, if not why not?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: If required, at the appropriate time, the Attorney-General will give her views on the consistency of the proposals in the Gangs Legislation Amendment Bill with the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990.
