1216 (2024). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister for Regulation: As of 27 February 2024, what advice has the Minister received, if any, about the Government's proposal to "reduce the regulatory burden on farmers" as outlined in the Speech from the Throne?

Hon David Seymour: I have received one briefing that discussed primary industries among other sectors titled: T2024/86 First steps to deliver regulation sector reviews. I have also received advice from farmers across the country over the costs that regulation imposed between 2017-2023 has had on their business and way of life.
