1190 (2026). Reuben Davidson to the Minister for Digitising Government: What are the projected annual net savings after deducting the full operating and capital costs of the Government Digital Delivery Agency?
Hon Judith Collins: The establishment of the Government Digital Delivery Agency is expected to be cost neutral to the Crown.
The GCDO’s current digital procurement function has saved approximately $800 million (14 per cent) across a total agency spend of $5.6 billion between 2017 and FY 2024/25. Savings delivered by the Government Digital Delivery Agency and GCDO are expected to grow over time as the government’s new approach to digital investment and procurement leadership is built out. Net savings each year will vary as the work progresses.
