1126 (2024). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Education: Which school rebuilds have been currently paused?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) that there are 352 Ministry-led property projects over 305 schools, including Kura Kaupapa Māori and Kura ā Iwi, currently subject to a value-for-money review. The Ministry is in the process of communicating with all schools and kura affected by the review, including schools whose projects have been paused, and intends to proactively release the names of those affected in due course. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 1160, 1172 and 1228 (2024).
