1111 (2024). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Climate Change: Does the Minister have any intention to develop options for home flood insurance, as recommended in the National Adaptation Plan; if so, how will this be implemented?

Hon Simon Watts: The Government monitors the insurance market and has not made any decisions on potential changes to home flood insurance. I am focused on the preparation of an adaptation framework that will guide and prepare New Zealand for future climate impacts. I refer the Member to my response to written parliamentary question 1110 (2024).
