Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that the monthly costs to WorkSafe New Zealand for operating the road cone hotline were: Jun: $41,732 Jul: $5,827 Aug: $58,316 Sep: $42,671 Oct: $33,746 Nov: $37,705 Dec: $7,573 This expenditure also reflects investment in improvements to WorkSafe that will endure beyond the hotline, such as lifting inspector capability and improving feedback systems.
