959 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How many road cone configurations or temporary traffic management arrangements were changed, corrected, or removed as a direct result of reports made through the Road Cone Digital Hotline?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by WorkSafe New Zealand that 86 sites were assessed by Road Controlling Authorities (RCAs) following notifications from the road cone digital hotline as non-compliant with temporary traffic management (TTM) plans. In cases of non-compliance, RCAs were able to take action to ensure sites met the agreed TTM plan requirements.
