Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Has the Group Director Operations of Health New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty district received any advice or briefings relating to staff bullying problems in the obstetrics and gynaecology department at Whakatane Hospital, and if so, has bullying contributed to the suspension of specialist obstetrics and gynaecology services in Whakatane?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised by Health New Zealand that the Group Director Operations has not received any advice or briefings relating to allegations of bullying.
