946 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: What feedback or follow-up communication was provided to members of the public who submitted reports to the Road Cone Digital Hotline, and how many submitters received such follow-ups, if any?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand contacted every submitter by email acknowledging their notification. As necessary, Road Controlling Authorities (RCAs) directly contacted submitters if further information about a notification was required, with some RCAs also following up with submitters to let them know individually of the outcome of a site visit.  WorkSafe also sent an email to all submitters at the end of the pilot to thank them for their participation in the pilot.
