841 (2024). Kahurangi Carter to the Minister for Children: What instruction, if any, has the Minister provided to Oranga Tamariki regarding the introduction of youth offender bootcamps?

Hon Karen Chhour: I have directed officials to progress measures to respond to serious youth offending. These include the establishment of military-style academies and the creation of a new Young Serious Offender designation.
