784 (2024). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Local Government: What advice, if any, has the Minister received on which councils may require central government support to establish and transition to new water services delivery structures?

Hon Simeon Brown: I refer the Member to the attached list of advice I have received since 1 November 2023. I also receive a weekly Local Government status report. Further detailed policy development is currently underway to support the implementation of Local Water Done Well. I am continuing to seek advice on a range of matters from officials and from the Technical Advisory Group.
