737 (2026). Hon Dr Deborah Russell to the Minister of Revenue: What aides-mémoire, briefings, memos, notes, reports, or any other advice, if any, has the Minister or their Office received during the week beginning 15 December 2025, listed by agency, title and date received?

Hon Simon Watts: I am advised that Inland Revenue publishes a monthly list of titles of advice to Ministers, by the middle of the month after the advice is provided. I refer the member to that list, which can be found here: https://www.taxpolicy.ird.govt.nz/publications/2025/reports-to-ministers-2025. It is my view that the application of additional resources to answer this and similar questions now is not a good use of taxpayer funds and therefore not in the public interest.
