730 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister for Courts: How many claims have been lodged with the Waitangi Tribunal each calendar year since 2017, including those lodged to date in 2024, and how many of those claims were accorded urgency?

Hon Nicole McKee: I am advised that the Waitangi Tribunal Unit has interpreted your request to be for the number of claims registered in each calendar year from 2017 to 2024. Please note urgent applications are counted separately to claims registered under the standard process. I refer the member to Tables 1 and 2 attached.
