725 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister for Regulation: What was the nature of the document in respect of which the title was withheld in WPQ 371 (2024) and what particular aspect of the public interest required that it be withheld?

Hon David Seymour: As per my response to WPQ 371, one document title has not been released as the document pertains to a matter that is currently under active consideration and releasing it would undermine the convention of protecting the confidentiality of advice tendered by officials. It is in the wider public interest for Ministers to have a period to consider the document, in confidence, before it is disclosed publicly.
