Hon Mark Mitchell: Sport New Zealand has reviewed the "Impact-Analysis Requirement” Cabinet Office Circular. Considering the full range of options (including non-regulatory approaches) to address the issue at hand and understanding the potential impact of any potential programme or intervention is already a core part of the way that Sport New Zealand operates. While the majority of Sport New Zealand’s work involves non-regulatory approaches, Sport New Zealand will ensure that it complies with the requirements in the Cabinet Office Circular as necessary in relation to any future proposals that may have any regulatory impact.
