698 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: What criteria, if any, will Kāinga Ora use to assess its performance in better aligning its operations to its core mission of “delivering and managing social housing in an efficient and effective manner”?

Hon Tama Potaka: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me it will assess how well it is aligning its operations to its core mission by using the operational, financial, and service quality measures set out in its 2025/26 Statement of Performance Expectations. These measures collectively demonstrate whether Kāinga Ora is delivering and managing social housing efficiently and effectively. I also refer the Member to my reply to WPQ 697 (2026) for specific key efficiency and effectiveness measures.
