663 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: Did Kāinga Ora provide advice to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development about Kāinga Ora’s ability to assist with a fast-track initiative to assist homeless people living rough and if so, what was the advice provided?

Hon Tama Potaka: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me it works regularly with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development to provide advice on the operationalisation of policy initiatives as required, including opportunities to house people living rough.
