652 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: How did Kāinga Ora achieve the $68 million savings compared to SPE Budget for FY 26 for Urban Development and how, if at all, will those savings be reallocated?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that the $68 million related primarily to its transformation programme, and included areas such as reset activities, reducing travel and personnel costs, and changing the delivery model. These savings have not currently been reallocated.
