601 (2024). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Resources: Further to 30453, has he progressed any work on developing a hydrogen work programme for 2024?

Hon Shane Jones: The Coalition Government has several commitments related to hydrogen, including ensuring energy settings allow for the exploration of natural geological hydrogen in New Zealand, to maximise future energy resilience. In my role as Minister for Resources, I expect to progress a work programme on natural geological hydrogen following advice from officials on this topic.
