587 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: How much of the operating funding from the $140 million taken from Kāinga Ora in Budget 2024 has been allocated to funding providers who are delivering 1,500 new social housing places and how much, if any, has actually been spent?

Hon Chris Bishop: It is not possible to determine if individual social housing places have been funded from specific reallocated or underspent appropriations.
