541 (2026). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How many, if any, serious workplace accidents were reported to WorkSafe during the week of January 5th 2026?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that from 5 to 11 January 2026, WorkSafe New Zealand received notification of 40 serious workplace accidents (37 notifications of injury and three notifications of fatal harm, per my response to Written Question 538 (2026)).
