538 (2026). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How many, if any, workplace fatalities were reported to WorkSafe during the week of January 5th 2026?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe received three fatality notifications between 5 and 11 January 2026. One has been confirmed as meeting WorkSafe Fatality criteria, one has been confirmed as not meeting WorkSafe Fatality criteria, and one is still under assessment.
