532 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations: What actions, if any, has the Minister's departments or agencies, if any, made in implementing the Cabinet Office Circular titled "Impact-Analysis Requirement?"

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Te Arawhiti Policy Team were advised to familiarise themselves with its contents when it was released. This communication noted that most of Te Arawhiti Legislative Bids will be exempted from the requirements to undertake a regulatory impact statement (para 30.8 and 30.9) and identified two legislative bids that could come within scope of this circular. Further staff communication is planned.
