Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: What, if anything, was learned from the Disabled Customer Working Group pilot about the impact of policies and processes on disabled tenants living in Kāinga Ora homes and what policies and processes, if any, were found to have the most impact on disabled tenants?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that the Disabled Customer Working Group pilot generated useful organisational insights about how disabled customers experience our services. Kāinga Ora is now working through those insights to determine how they can best inform future policy and service improvements. This analysis is still underway, and no specific policy changes have yet been confirmed.
